Glencoe Country Club is a Semi-Private 18 hole golf course located in Glencoe, Minnesota.
Glencoe Golf Course first opened for play in 1955 as a nine hole golf course deigned by Les Bolstad and constructed voluntarily by the members. There have been many changes over the years, most noteworthy in 1998 with the expansion to 18-holes.
The layout winds through trees and waterways. #4 is rated as the hardest hole on the course, trees and sand bunkers straddle the landing zone for tee shots, and two ponds, one behind and one on the left side of the hole protect the green.
Par for the course is 72. From the back tees the course plays to 6,342 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 5,042 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 15, a par-5 that plays to 559 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 8, a par-3 that plays to 115 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 2, a 403 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is # 18, a 301 yard par-4.
